Alice book covers.

Looking into current and past designs of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland books, specifically the one below by Design Monkey, I love the use of illustrative type that reflects the eclecticism of the book and its story.

I love this design about, I love the use of the simple vector style illustrations and the hand rendered type.

Book design research

Looking into current and past designs specifically for Puffin Books.

These below are redesigns of classics, the use of a large box combined with an illustration is quite a classic format for book cover designs and in this case works will taking nothing away from the illustration while displaying all the nessacary information.

I actually love this Alice design, the illustration is suitably quirky alongside the classic format.
